In the book Persepolis the author talks about that the political leader said that he wanted their country to be religous and all the women have to wear veils. A journalist took a picture of Marjane's mother and she was on magazines. She had to dye her hair and wear glasses so she wouldn't be identified. Marjane thinks she is a prophet because she sees god, she talks to him. I know that they are all key leader's in the communist revolution and they helped make countries into communist countries. She sees and speaks to god alot in her room. She later learns that her grandpa was a prince and that her dad, mom are trying to start a revolutioon movement. She is now trying to be in the revolution movement in Iran. She wants to be a prophet also. She reads alot of books and is well read.

6 word memoir, short or impossible. I thought about this randomly it just hit me sort of. I thought of the guy commiting suicide because the 6 word memoir is so hard that he would rather kill himself. I think the picture makes the readers really get the hardship it takes to write a 6 word memoir. The picture also looks like a guy in a office trying to write one. When i was trying to write this one i was  trying to beat abraham by writing  a better one and i did cause i'm a boss. I think that this was one of the best memoirs i wrote and that it's the funniest i wrote.When i thought about how to write a 6 word memoir i thought it was going to be hard but then thought about making one from me being annoyed on making one. This just came to me by thinking about how hard it is to write one.

whale rider review

I think she was not seen as the "chosen one because she was a girl. She tries hard to act like a true leader but her grandpa doesn't let her and he is the external conflict in this movie. She proves herself by retrieving the necklace wich was the final test and also cause she rode the whale. I think that this movie showed how woman are as capable of what men are in terms of leadership. This sort of inspires girls to try hard for what they want even if its gender bias or as dangerous as riding a whale. Her support comes mostly from her grandma wich thinks she is a leader because she is from the same family. The whales are were sent because there village was in danger. Pakai gets on top of one and she goes into the ocean with him. The other whales follow her.

Luis Barrera Creative Writing

     My name is Luis and i like baseball. I like to play it with my freinds and with my dad. I like to watch it too and my favorite team is the yankees. I liked them since i was a little kid and i remember him teaching me how to play and it was fun too. My sister likes the yankees too but the rest of my family likes the St Louis Cardinals. They use to live over there so i guess that's probably why. I love the feeling of when you hit the ball from the end of the bat. I like pitching too though but also i think i like pretty much every aspect of baseball. My uncles would play it with my dad when they were also kids too in Mexico. From the reactions of  the seniors that played last year that still help the coaches this year of how good of an arm i have and how i bat they like me. Although i wasn't on time to alot of practices so i was off the team.
